Maggie Gunther

Maggie Gunther is the Director of Communications and Programs for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, Broward County’s official public/private partnership for economic development. She has worked in public relations and marketing for more than a decade, is accredited in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with honors from UCF and an MBA from FAU. In 2016, she was named to the South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. She is a member of Leadership Florida’s Connect Florida statewide leadership institute Class VI. Maggie is the current Co-Chair of the Broward Center’s Ghost Light Society, board member of the Stranahan House and Walk Like MADD and Village Square at Broward College. Maggie has a very special place in her heart for HANDY because HANDY provides a family and a future for kids who can use a hand up in life. She should be chosen as Prom Queen because it’s time for “the nerd” to be crowned!
