HOMECOMING COURT PROFILE

As a Shawnee, Kansas native, Johnny Carver pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas. Prior to law school, Johnny worked for multiple teams in the National Basketball Association, as well as the Arkansas Razorbacks Mens’ Basketball Team. In 2017, he moved to South Florida to attend the University of Miami School of Law.

Johnny’s notable achievements include authoring “Ranketology,” a book presenting his algorithm to determine the greatest player in NBA history. Holding a J.D. and LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts, & Sports from the University of Miami School of Law, he now serves as an attorney at Goede, DeBoest & Cross in Boca Raton, FL. His commitment extends beyond law, as he actively supports nonprofit charities for ulcerative colitis and children with cerebral palsy. Recently nominated as a 2023 HANDY Homecoming King candidate, Johnny is honored and looks forward to positively impacting at-risk youth in Broward County.
