Ashley Klein moved from Rhode Island in 2006 to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). After NSU, she sought out her passion to make an impact in the glass and glazing industry. Ashley Klein is President of AK Glazing Contractors Inc., a specialty commercial glass installation enterprise based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Ms. Klein is first before all things a proud daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and colleague. She values spending time with family and friends, traveling, being active outdoors, attempting to golf, networking, and giving back to the community. She finds fulfillment through her ambassadorship and contributions to a variety of organizations such has HANDY Inc., Huntington’s Disease Society of America, Autism Speaks, Construction Angles Inc., American Heart, Breast and Cancer Associations, American Red Cross, David Posnack Jewish Community Center, and The Caring Place of Florida.
AK Glazing has completed the installation of custom, high performance impact curtain wall, window wall, storefront, glass railing, and fixed/operable window systems in Florida, Tennessee, New England, Turks and Caicos, and India. Ms. Klein is responsible for company wide administration, and supporting the on-site operations of six mid and high-rise residential and commercial buildings, and custom luxury homes currently underway in South Florida. She and her dedicated team of 45+ employees have contributed to the successful execution of seventeen projects since the establishment of AK Glazing in 2013. Ms. Klein has had the opportunity and humbling experience to work alongside local and national industry-leading owners, developers, general contractors, and manufacturers on projects such as; Icon Las Olas with The Related Group and Moss Construction, Panorama Tower Brickell with Florida East Coast Realty, Hyde Beach House with The Related Group and John Moriarty of South Florida, The Rise at Flagler Village with G.T. McDonald Enterprises, and their most recent Fort Lauderdale endeavor with Fortune Construction: New River Yacht Club III.
