Guardian ad Litem Program

HANDY strongly believes that every child in the Dependency Court System should have a Guardian ad Litem to advocate in the child’s best interest. We appreciate the importance of the work, the degree of effort, the time expended, and caring heart that is required in representing the best interests of a child in the complicated and over-burdened judicial process.  We honor all of those involved in this vital process. 

HANDY participates in the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) training program to acquaint GAL volunteers thoroughly with the programs and services we offer the children they will be serving.  For more information about the Guardian ad Litem Program or if you are interested in becoming a Guardian ad Litem please call 954-831-6214.
